Xiamen East Ocean Fishery Import & Export Co.,Ltd exports its octopus products to North America and Southeast Asia each year. Now the company intends to apply their patented technology, the extraction of natural taurine from leftovers of processed octopus using membranes, into commercial production with a total capital input of USD 5.11 million. USD1.984 million has been paid by the company itself and it is seeking the rest USD3.126 million from an outside source. Investors are invited to co-operate with this company and provide the financing for a production line which is able to consume 5,000 tons of octopus leftovers and generate 40 tons of natural taurine crystal per year.
