The purpose of the business event is to showcase UK
excellence and introduce UK companies to key Chinese
decision-makers and buyers. The event will be an excellent
opportunity for you to progress your business development aims
in China.

Under the broad theme of UK's capability in low carbon, the
event will focus on the following sectors, each with their own
networking area: Advanced Engineering; Energy; Infrastructure;
ICT; Creative Industries; Agriculture; Life Sciences; Financial
Services.

It will also be an opportunity for UK Trade & Investment and the
China-Britain Business Council to work with you as we develop
our programme on Regional Cities, Sustainable Cities and value
chains which aims to help British companies identify more
opportunities in China.

Subject to final confirmation of his programme, Lord Mandelson
will also visit the China International Fair for Investment and
Trade in Xiamen and Shanghai (8 and 9 September) where there
will also be associated business events. Details of these will be
available in due course.
