A first-class joint venture hospital covering an area of 38,000 sqm. with 300 beds is planned to be established in Jiangsu Wujiang Foho Economic Development Zone in Shanghai serving expatriates and high net-worth Chinese who require high standard healthcare services. Planned total investment will be RMB1.5 million (100,000 pounds) plus and foreign partners are welcome to make a joint or wholly-owned investment.

Only 50km away from Shanghai, Wujiang Foho Economic Zone is a provincial-government level supported development zone in Jiangsu Province, East China. It covers an area of 258 sqm with a population of about 230,000. It consists of an industry zone, a central urban area, a leisure resort and an agriculture development zone. About 400 foreign companies that have made investment there (e.g. Marubeni, Toyota, Mitsubishi) with a total investment of USD1.6 billion. Over 2400 domestic companies have established a presence there.
