Event Description

UK based event for those who are interested in Trans-National Education, in the China and Hong Kong Education Sector Markets.

The UK government's interest in Trans-national Education (TNE), reflected in the PMI, emphasises the importance of UK partnerships with overseas institutions. It includes a wide variety of delivery modes including distance and e-learning; validation and franchising arrangements; twinning and other collaborative provision.

As a major global phenomenon, TNE is predicted to grow significantly over the next twenty years.

The demand for continuous education and vocational training is growing rapidly, and foreign providers are encouraged to deliver TNE programmes in this field. Continuous education, vocational training and lifelong learning are also the strategic education policies outlined in China’s 11th five-year plan.
