Event Description
CIEME is a government-led event, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, State Council's Office of the Leading Group for Revitalising Northeast China and Other Old Industrial Bases, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Liaoning Provincial People's Government. It highlights new technology in equipment manufacturing. Exhibitors cover the following sub-sectors: - Digital machine tool, metal cutting machine tool, forming maching tool, tool accessories; - Pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, transformers, mutual inductors, aerospace, power plant and electricity, petrochemical industry, metallurgy, environmental protection, heavy mine, electricity transmission; - Construction machinery, building machinery, specialised vehicles, heavy mechanical equipment, etc.; - Robot, automation control, instrument and apparatus, electronic applied systems as well as information solutions of manufacturing.

Further Information
Last year, Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce led a business delegation to the event.
This year, the EU Commission will provide a speaker and UKTI Beijing will probably send a representative.
