The Federation of Chinese Professional Societies in the UK (FCPS-UK) was established in 2001, supported and sponsored by the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in the UK. FCPS-UK is the first high profile multi-disciplinary professional body in United Kingdom for Chinese academics and professionals, with an extensive network and a membership of over 2,000 throughout the country. Its mission is to unite Chinese scholars in the UK to serve China and to improve the Sino-UK relationship in the areas of economic development, education, science and technology.
This conference aims to bring together Chinese professionals in different disciplines from the UK and to provide a platform for multiple communications and collaborations. One of the objectives is to explore the opportunities for research and education collaboration between the UK and China. Another objective is to team up Chinese elites in different disciplines, to identify avenues to serve China, and to collaborate with relevant parties in order to bring mutual benefits to China and the UK.
