Event Description
In November 2008 China announced a RMB4 trillion fiscal stimulus plan, with infrastructure, and Sichuan reconstruction, at its core. Additional spending has since been announced, with the total now in excess of RMB6 trillion. Recent project announcements have included infrastructure spending of over RMB4 trillion. In addition, Hong Kong\'s £20 billion stimulus plan is also focused on infrastructure, and includes a number of major cross-border projects.

This seminar on 17 November 2009 will cover developments and opportunities in the Chinese infrastructure market, resulting from the stimulus spending, strategies for engagement, and the support services available from UK Trade & Investment and the China-Britain Business Council.
