Event Type Seminar
Event Date 18/11/2009 10.00 - 12.30
Event Description
In November 2008 China announced a RMB4 trillion fiscal stimulus plan. Additional spending has since been announced, with the total now in excess of RMB6 trillion. The environmental sector was allocated 5% of the core RMB4 trillion spending plan. But the stimulus plans also include significant spending on \"green\" projects across the major spending sectors.
This seminar on 18 November 2009 will cover developments and opportunities in the Chinese environmental and low carbon sectors resulting from the stimulus spending, strategies for engagement, and the support services available from UK Trade & Investment and the China-Britain Business Council.
