UK Trade & Investment is organising a series of China & India aerospace roadshow events, working with partner organisations, from February-April 2010 in the following locations:

9 February - Wigan
10 February - Weston-Super-Mare
18 February - Edinburgh
25 February - Birmingham *
4 March - Daventry
16 March - London
28 April - Cardiff
Principal topics and speakers will include:

Chinese business environment - UKTI China Commercial Officers **
China Aerospace Structure, Business Opportunities and Major Programmes - Nigel Gibbons, UKTI
Market Entry Strategies and Doing Business in China & India - Paul Calver, UKTI
Paul Calver is UKTI's Advanced Engineering Global Value Chain specialist for China and India and Nigel Gibbons, UKTI Head of Regional Operations, has just completed a secondment to the British Embassy in Beijing where he did a report into aerospace supply chain opportunities for UK companies. Paul Calver's presentation will include a short section on India.

* The Birmingham event will also focus on wider advanced manufacturing opportunities.
** UKTI China Commercial Officers will attend all of the events, except for London and Cardiff".
