The British Security Industry Association will be taking a group of UK businesses to Security & Fire Shanghai with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) support via the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

The 7th Shanghai International Fire & Security Technology Equipment Exhibition is the largest professional exhibition on fire protection and security equipment and technologies in Shanghai. Shanghai Fire & Security Shanghai 2007 will provide a platform for manufacturers and companies to promote the latest products and equipment, and to exchange new technologies. It will also provide an opportunity for the overseas fire industry to enter the China market. Over 230 companies participated at the last event in 2005.

This event has been designated as a "high tech" event by UKTI and TAP support may therefore be made available to otherwise eligible businesses that are not necessarily "new to export". Although businesses that have exhibited at any of the three previous editions of the event would not be eligible for support on this basis.
