Electricity, coal and gas are the key businesses for CQEIG and at the same time to develop and explore new energy.Chongqing Energy Investment Group has six wholly-owned companies, four wide-stock subsidiaries, one close-stock subsidiary and seventeen other joint stock companies. By the end of 2006, Chongqing Energy Investment Group registered capital has reached to 4.45 billion yuan, total capita fund at 16 billion yuan, net property of 9 billion yuan, 44% of assets and liabilities and sales revenue with 9 billion yuan. It now has staffs administrative personnel and workers about 62 thousands. From January to July of 2007, CQEIG has invested 658 million yuan on its own and collected capital about 800 million yuan.
