Shanghai Expo Bureau opens the tender to public for Catering service provider/ Catering service management enterprise during the Shanghai Expo 2010 period.

Fast food (Both Chinese and Western), food court, tea house, theme restaurant, coffee/beer bar, etc.

Specific details of requirements
The solicited parties should be the corporate entities inside and outside China .

The solicited parties must have the industrial qualifications and sanitary licenses required for fulfilling this bid. A catering management enterprise must have a registered capital of more than RMB 5 million (£500,000) and annual turnover of more than RMB RMB 50 million (£5 million). A catering operation enterprise must have a registered capital of more than RMB 100,000 (£10,000) and annual operational revenue of more than RMB1 million (£100,000).

The solicited parties must have complete quality control systems for food operation.

They must still engage in catering management or catering operation inside and outside China .

Preferential consideration will be given to the solicited parties that have large food courts in operation and experience in successfully accommodating large events.

This project allows joint response in the form of corporate alliance, but one member of such alliance should work as the main solicited party. While this main solicited party must meet the above requirements for the solicited parties, all the members of the alliance must confirm the main solicited party and present their Alliance Agreement.

Official tender business letter (with legal representative information)
Commercial Proposal (include predicted turnover and price for bid)
Official technical plan (include supply chain system and logistic issues)
Interested company is suggested to send the profiles to British Consulate General Shanghai first due to the short tender notice announced by Expo Bureau during Feb to June. Early application is highly recommended.
