Event Description
Join UK Trade & Investment on this mission to the 3 key cities in China, involved in the UK-China Sustainable Cities Initiative between 16 - 20 November 2009. UK Trade & Investment’s Sustainable Cities Initiative with Chongqing and Wuhan is proving to be so successful that Changsha has just been added to the list of towns covered by the programme.
We welcome companies offering low carbon solutions from the environmental and sustainable technologies sector. The mission’s aim is to help you further your business in China, introduce you to new project opportunities and potential partners.
The mission is being organised and managed by China-Britain Business Council on behalf of UK Trade & Investment. For further information, including details on how to register please see the attached flyer below.

Delegates will be liable for payment in participating on the mission (for example: flights, accommodation and local transport). UKTI will fund costs of the in-market group activities, for example: the organisation of group meetings, networking receptions and the printing of the mission brochure.
UKTI can help your overseas business strategy take flight thanks to an offer from British Airways. The airline has provided UKTI with complimentary international return flights to help UK SMEs expand their business to new markets. Flights have been allocated to a number of missions, including this mission but are limited and subject to some restrictions and availability. Please note that in particular, flights for the Beijing route are heavily subscribed, so your application is dependent on availability, as determined by BA.
