2) Interested in co-operation with UK companies on ICU equipment. Could be product representation in China.

Goldway is a private company in Shenzhen with registered capital of RMB30million. Established in 1995, the company now employs over 240 staff. With headquarters (manufacturing and R & D) in Shenzhen, Goldway has established 20 offices all over China. The products of the company focuses on include patient monitor, colposcope, respiratory and anaesthetic equipment.

The business revenue of the company in 2006 reached RMB100million. Export sales is slightly larger than domestic sales, accounting for 51% of the total revenue. Its products, certified with CE, FDA, and CMDC have been exported to 80 countries around the world, mainly through local distributors. However, Goldway set up its own office in New York US for American market.

Goldway has strong experience in trading with overseas countries. They import components from UK and export a small quanitity of patient monitor and colposcope to the UK. But they are keen to enhance the trade link with UK companies.
