Event Description

In November we are taking our third visit to Guangdong Province, which is officially linked with the South West Region. Guangdond is one of the fastest growing provinces in China, and an ideal entry point into mainland China from Hong Kong. In March we plan to visit Shanghai in addition to the other cities.

Visits can be carried out as part of an organised group or independently.

Market Visit Support

Our Market Visit Support scheme is designed to help New to Export companies - those which have proactive exports not exceeding 10%, and overall exports of less than 25%, of their turnover.

However, in the case of applications for visits to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, companies need not comply with the New to Export eligibility criteria. These visits are also for companies who are New to Market - you must not have exported to the market you intend to visit during the past 12 months, and must not have established representation there.

Proposed visits should form part of a market development strategy, and applicants should be working with their local UK Trade & Investment International Trade Team in a trade development capacity.
