TitleManufacturing in China - Costing the Benefits,
VenueCedar Court Hotel, Bradford,
Time0930-1330 hrs,

China’s low cost base has been well recognised and has led most manufacturers to consider establishing operations there, particularly if they are serving fiercely competitive world markets. Making the decision to go to China is not easy, however, and number-crunching plays an important part in determining the desirability and feasibility of market entry.
In partnership with BDO Stoy Hayward, China-Britain Business Council presents a workshop on the cost benefits of manufacturing in China, inviting Ian V Hughes of Join and Succeed Consulting Company, formerly general manager of Clairol (China), to share his expertise in generating the necessary cost comparisons for internal feasibility studies. BDO Stoy Hayward LLP will also provide an up-date on how recently announced changes in taxation policies will influence the attractiveness of China as a low cost manufacturing location.
