Currently, Xinpeng have two products: Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Injection (CHO Cell) and Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor for Injection (CSF). Though they are the third company in developing CHO and CSF, their current market share in China reaches over 20%, ranking the second in the country.

Xinpeng has strong links with Chinese research institutes in order to identify the potential biopharm products. However, they don’t usually sponsor the initial scientific research process.

Xinpeng has established commercial links with US and Spain private research institutes since 2005, however, no potential partner in UK yet.

They are particularly interested in working with UK research institutes in technology partnership in drug development, especially in the following fields:

Gene recombinant protein
Treatment for lung cancer
Treatment for bone cancer

Time frame for venture/co-operation
To begin within 6 months

The registration capital of the company is RMB100million, while according to the recent company value assessment by accountancy firm, the company value exceed RMB150million. The company employs 70 staff, including 20 R & D specialists.

The company is a member of “863” Scientific Programme of Chinese Academy of Science, which represents the most advanced science research projects in China.
