The best five Chinese computer games developers-Softstar Entertainment, Userjoy Technology, Odin Soft, Winking and Fun Yours, are its co-investors. The company not only publishes its parent company’s products, it also works as publisher for other companies from the world, as well as setting up its own R&D centres to develop games. Unistar claims to have taken control of about 60% of game publishing market shares. Headquartered in Beijing, Unistar has set up 6 major offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Shenyang and Xi’an to be in charge of regional sales channels. They have established partnership with 400 plus long-term wholesale dealers and have covered over 4000 retail outlets. Its registered members have reached over 100,000.
