East Midlands Market Visit to Southwest China -
Chongqing and Chengdu, November 5th - 9th 2007

The East Midlands-China Business Bureau invites you to join our Market Visit to Southwest China and participate in two 'East Midlands Days' and a major EU funded matchmaking event in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan province.

The 'East Midlands Days' shall be held in Chongqing and Chengdu on the 5th and 7th November, giving your business access to Chinese companies.

On 8th - 9th November the EU - Chengdu Matchmaking Event will be held, where over 300 Chinese companies will be looking to work with European companies in the areas of IT; Machinery; Building Material; and Environmental Protection.

Programme
November 3rd (Sat) Depart UK for China.
November 4th (Sun) Arrive at Chongqing.
November 5th (Mon) Briefing at British Consulate General in Chongqing. 'East Midlands Day’ in Chongqing Business Meetings with
Chinese companies. Evening Reception to network with Chinese government officials and business partners.
November 6th (Tue) Business meetings with Chinese companies. Transfer to Chengdu.
November 7th (Wed) ‘East Midlands Day’ in Chengdu. Evening Reception to network with Chinese government officials
and business partners.
November 8th (Thur) EU – Chengdu SMEs Business Matchmaking Event.
Gala Dinner.
November 9th (Fri) EU – Chengdu SMEs Business Matchmaking Event.
November 10th (Sat) Fly back to the UK
