The Engineering Industries Association will be taking a group of UK businesses to CIIF 2007 with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) support via the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

CIIF (China International Industry Fair) is a state-based and international platform for displaying the latest technology and products on industrial fields. This large-scale world industrial expo was attended by almost 2,000 exhibitors and 106,000 visitors in 2006.

This event has been designated as a "high tech" event by UKTI and TAP support may therefore be made available to otherwise eligible businesses that are not necessarily "new to export". Although businesses that have exhibited at any of the three previous editions of the event would not be eligible for support on this basis.
