Event Description
China Mining is hosted by the Ministry of Land & Resources, China and organized by TBG-CEICO. China Mining has been held successfully for 7 years. China Mining 2005 was held on November 15-17, and hosted a total of 2,000 participants and 150 exhibition booths. Approximately half of the delegates were foreigners, mainly from Canada, Australia, USA, South Africa, Chile, UK, Germany, Mongolia, Switzerland, etc.
The metals and minerals focus of China Mining covers precious and base metals, coal, iron ore, REE and other minerals.
During China Mining, leaders from both Chinese and foreign industries present and discuss new developments, investment pollicies and programs for the Chinese mining industry. The event introduces new theories, technologies and methods for mineral exploration and processing. The exhibition is designed to enhance international cooperation in fields such as exploration, safety, investment and equipment technology, providing delegates with a great opportunity to network and promote important business activities.
Venue Details
The Beijing International Convention Centre is "State of the art" congress facilities next to the new 2008 Olympic Stadium, surrounder by some of Beijing's best architecture, with fast and easy access to all important sectors of the capital including the airport. This facilitiy hosts many of Beijing's largest conventions and is capable of seating 2,500 delegates in one plenary session. Furthermore, it has several high tech congress and meeting rooms. Exhibition space is centrally located and has easy access from all congress facilities. The whole facility is linked to its own 4-star hotel. A 5-star Crowne Plaza Hotel is less than 100 metres away. Many other hotels and restaurants are within walking distance.
