This workshop is about understanding what is really going on beneath surface behaviours when you are working with the Chinese. The focus is on understanding and getting to grips with the powerful cultural forces that drive the Chinese both as individuals and as groups. In China you will be working with a formidable and fascinating people and civilisation. Get it right and you will gain long-term success. Get it wrong and you will fail at the first fence. The workshop will cover:
- How the Chinese think, their cultural memory and current expectations. How they see you
- Presenting your business case in a Chinese context
- The Chinese work ethic & Chinese endurance
- Building ‘social capital’ as a precondition for success
- Negotiating successfully with the Chinese
- Managing people effectively in a Chinese context – motivation,criticism and leadership
- Communicating effectively at meetings, presentations, decision making events, e-mails and video conferencing What are the benefits of attending?
