Event: China Business Update - Legal Briefing
Date: Thursday 4th March 2010
Time: 09.30 - 13.30
Venue: Hilton Hotel, Nottingham

In a background of better than hoped for economic recovery in China, on-going adjustments to the country’s foreign investment, employment and taxation regulations continue to provide challenges and opportunities for UK companies doing business there.

Over the past year or so, laws and regulations introduced by the Chinese government have re-shaped the entire business environment in terms of cost and complexity. In addition, the situation is further complicated by the fact that many new regulations are interpreted and enforced in different ways in different parts of the country.

In this series of China Legal Updates, experienced lawyers from the China offices of Lovells will provide a practical, case study-based overview of the latest changes and their potential impact on your China business, while the China-Britain Business Council will advise on preparation for market entry.
