Event Description
China continues to register solid GDP growth despite the weak global economic environment. UK exports of goods to Hong Kong in 2008 amounted to £3.47 billion, making it the UK's 16th largest export market.

With sterling falling over 30% against local currencies in the last year this is an excellent time for any exporters to re-evaluate their business strategies and opportunities in these markets.

This event will be a unique opportunity to update South East companies on the market conditions and developments and hear from a local company about how Chinese expertise can be leveraged to UK advantage.

You will also hear how UKTI and CBBC (China Britain Business Council) can help you engage more effectively with this important economic region.
