CBBC is pleased to announce that Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Trade & Economic Co-operation Bureau will be hosting an investment promotion seminar in London on Tuesday, 28th April 2009. The seminar will be hosted by Ms Ling Li, the Director-General of Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Trade & Economic Bureau, and will be held at The Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane, London.
The seminar will offer delegates the chance to hear the Director-General speak about Hangzhou's rapid growth and the exciting opportunities open to UK businesses and the support they can expect from government. Ms Li will also be accompanied by a business and government delegation, details of which are set out below:

Hangzhou - Zhejiang province’s capital city - has enjoyed sustained economic growth with a number of industries moving into the region from the vastly-populated city of Shanghai. Hangzhou has a large ICT sector with international supply chain leaders choosing it as their preferred location. Creative industries also remains a strong focus for the area. In the recently published UKTI Regional Cities report, Hangzhou featured prominently, boasting an impressive infrastructure and highly skilled human resources.
