Date 18 - 30 April 2009
Venue Hong Kong, Wuhan, Hefei and Beijing
The aim of this mission is to investigate business opportunities for relevant UK companies in China’s central regions, particularly in Wuhan and Hefei. At the recent UK-China Business Summit in London, the UK Prime Minister and the Chinese Premier agreed to further promote business opportunities in China’s regional cities.
The mission is tied in with the 4th Expo Central China, where businesses from China’s 6 central provinces gather in Hefei, to meet with partners and seek business opportunities(www.expocentralchina.cofcom.gov.cn). Supported by Anhui provincial government, our delegates will be matched with relevant Chinese businesses at the expo.
Delegates will also be able to participate in business activities coinciding with a UK VIP visit in Beijing (TBC) towards the end of the visit.
The delegation will be led by Stephen Phillips, Chief Executive of CBBC.
We welcome companies from all sectors to join this exciting visit to seize opportunities in China’s central regions. Wuhan and Hefei are particularly relevant for companies in the following sectors: energy, environment and climate change, infrastructure, advance
engineering, healthcare, electronics and ICT.
This mission presents an excellent opportunity for companies already operating in China but seeking for business development in new regional markets.
See our recent research at (www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk/ukti/chinacities) to find out opportunities relevant to your business.
