The Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium and China International Consumer Goods Fair (“Symposium” and “Fair” for short)are comprehensive events in Zhejiang Province featuring foreign economic and trade exchanges, serving as platforms for the introduction of capital, technology, talents and expertise as well as the “going-global” strategy of Zhejiang Province.

During the ten Symposiums since 1999, over 2,999 projects were accumulatively signed, involving a total contractual investment of over 28.322 billion USD. Starting from 2002, the Fair was launched annually together with the Symposium, resulting in an accumulative trade turnover of 5.577 billion USD. The Symposiums and the Fairs have attracted over 90,000 foreign guests from over 100 countries and regions. The Symposiums and Fairs over the years have also introduced in a great many talents and scientific & technological results from home and abroad.

The recent Symposiums and Fairs have evolved into large national exhibitions of investment talk, trade exhibition, opening-up forum and introduction of talents, science and technology. Aiming at speeding up the steps of “going-global” and “bringing-in”, strengthening trade promotion and project talk and highlighting reciprocal investment, ZJITS unceasingly seeks new ways of talks to maximize the actual effect of resource sharing and talk.
