As the global automotive industry stalls, China is one of the few markets with expected growth in 2009. The Chinese government has Introduced a package of incentives to stimulate the market and to encourage a shift to more fuel efficient vehicles.
UK Trade & Investment is hosting a visit of senior executives from some of China’s top automakers and engineering institutes, which includes, Guangzhou Auto, Lifan,Tianjin Research Institute, Beijing Transport Committee, SAIC, ChangAn New Energy; other Chinese VM’s are expected to join the delegation.
Although this visit will have a particular focus on powertrain and transmission technologies, and alternative fuels, the executives will be interested in hearing about a wider range of technologies and services available from the UK.
